"Recently launched, Fronlas is a rather impressive boutique B&B in the heart of fashionable Llandeilo, boasting a list of eco-credentials that has put them firmly on both the style and eco-friendly maps. From the moment you check in, it is clear that owners Eva and Owain Huw are passionate about packaging up Welsh style in the form of a great boutique getaway, realising that Welsh visitors weren’t being offered this modern mix of luxury and conscience until now. They’ve installed solar panels for hot water and underfloor heating, and the beds have organic mattresses sourced from Carmarthenshire-based Abaca; there’s organic linen and towels and, of course, 100% renewable electricity, all contributing to the good feeling that Fronlas evokes. Add to that the locally-sourced, organic breakfast and the fact that Fronlas is only a two-minute walk from Llandeilo train station, and they seem to have thought of it all. Needless to say this B&B is set to become a firm favourite, and one that is now top of my ‘where to stay’ list."
