Llandeilo boasts some of Wales's finest boutique shops. Starting at the top of King Street at Scorpio you'll see a number of the items used in the rooms used here at Fronlas. Down the street there's Broadleaf flooring, Towy Interiors and Peppercorn - a fabulous kitchen shop with every gadget imaginable.
Rest awhile over a coffee and pastry at Caffi Salvador before hitting the fashion shops, including Toast, Mela, Heel Appeal and Bellissimo. Looking for a gift? Try Dots, or for garden gifts and flowers head for Pinc. And for pure indulgence, you need look no further than Heavenly, Llandeilo's very own chocolatier and ice cream maker. For children's gifts, there's Eve's Toyshop and Igam-Ogam. There are also a number of art galleries, antique shops, delis and local award-winning butchers.
"The Carmarthenshire town of Llandeilo isn't quite as stuck in the sticks as the rural location suggests. As well as being home to a branch of fashion store Toast and a glamorous new boutique hotel, it also boasts one of the best small delis in Wales." The Independent, 9 August 2008.
