A foodie destination

We make every effort to use only the best and freshest organic ingredients from mid and west Wales, and to source as much as we can directly from the producers to minimise food miles.

As well as Eva's home-cooked 'Full Welsh' with Graig Farm bacon and sausages, we also offer a continental breakfast and healthy alternatives such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and a delicious vegetarian/vegan breakfast. If you have a food allergy, just let us know prior to your arrival – we can even bake fresh gluten-free bread and have dairy-free alternatives available.

Carmarthenshire is a food destination in its own right. Carmarthen Ham, fine cheeses and fresh fish including sewin and brown trout from the crystal clear waters of the Tywi as well as cockles from the sands of the estuaries. Llandeilo has its own chocolatier and ice-cream maker, Heavenly, three excellent delis (including Pinc, where we source a number of our breakfast items, including all the organic fruit and vegetables) and three independent butchers.

There are some great eateries in the area, including Y Polyn in Nantgaredig, The Red Lion in Llangadog and Valans in Llandybïe. And with some appealing options for evening dining in the town such as The Angel Inn and The Cawdor, you don't even need to get in the car to experience good food.
