Fishing on the Tywi River
The Tywi (sometimes spelt "Towy") is known as one of the best angling destinations in Europe for Sea Trout (sewin) – there are also good runs of salmon later in the year. Fronlas is perfectly located for fishing, just a 5 minute walk down to the river bank, where you can also cross the river – we can arrange the purchase of a pass through the Llandeilo Angling Assocation on your behalf (£25 for 24 hours), which covers over four miles of both sides of the Tywi near Llandeilo.
