Perfect cycling country
Quiet country lanes, mountain bike trails, forests and stunning views of the Tywi and the Brecon Beacons, makes Fronlas the perfect place for a cycling holiday. For off-road paths head to Llyn Llech Owain or Brechfa Forest or take your bike on the train to the Brecon Beacons or the Millennium Coastal Path, where you can cycle to Pembrey Country Park, which includes an 8-mile long sandy beach, Cefn Sidan. For the serious mountain biker the Afan Forest Park, voted one of the Top 10 places to mountain bike in the world, is 45 minutes' drive away.
There are plenty of maps and cycling routes at Fronlas, and when you return there's a bike wash, secure bike storage and a drying room for your gear. And to keep your energy levels high, there are plenty of country pubs or we can prepare you a sizeable packed-lunch. And if you don't fancy brining your own bike, we have an arrangement with a local bike hire company.
