About Us
Eva Huw, from Malmesbury in Wiltshire and husband Owain (Fronlas' very own web designer and photographer), originally from Aberystwyth in west Wales, fell in love with Llandeilo whilst visiting the town on a day drip in 2006 and decided to create a boutique establishment that would be striking and attractive but without compromising their deeply-held eco principles.
Following months of hard research, staying at some wonderful boutique hotels and b&bs the work of transforming the Edwardian townhouse began in early 2007 and Fronlas, the original name of the house, opened its doors in late April 2008.
Since then, Fronlas has been graded by Visit Wales as 5-star Guest Accommodation and has already become a member of Wales in Style, an independently selected guide to some of the finest places to stay, eat and visit in Wales.
